How We Built a Strong Homeschool in Math, English, and Science (K1–KS3 Resources)

Image
Hello there,  Homeschooling is a journey of discovery—not only for children, but for parents as well. One of the most important parts of that journey is finding learning resources that are clear, engaging, and structured enough to guide both the student and the parent. Over the years, we have explored a variety of educational materials, but one publisher has remained a constant favourite in our homeschool: Collins . Their books have played a key role in helping us build a strong foundation in Math, English, and Science , while encouraging independent learning and curiosity. Our 9-Year Cambridge Homeschooling Journey: From KS1 to KS3

Image
The first time I tried teaching fractions at our kitchen table, I had no idea I was starting a nine-year journey — filled with triumphs, challenges, and lessons I wish someone had shared with me. I needed a curriculum that was internationally recognized, progressive, and focused on understanding rather than rote memorization. Cambridg...

We already have many resources ready, but new materials will be shared gradually. My goal is to create a supportive companion for families exploring Cambridge homeschooling. 💜

About Me:  Hello and welcome. I’m a homeschooling mother who has spent the last nine years guiding her child through a Cambridge International–aligned education, from KS1 through to KS3. I didn’t begin this journey as a trained teacher. I began as a mother—asking questions, reading late into the night and trying to balance structure with warmth, ambition with reassurance. Like many homeschooling parents, I wanted to offer my child a strong education without losing the joy, confidence, and curiosity that make learning meaningful.   Why I Homeschool I chose to Homeschool because I wanted my child to be known—not measured, rushed, or shaped to fit a system. I wanted learning to happen at a pace that felt right, with space for questions, confidence to grow, and the freedom to pause when understanding mattered more than progress on paper. Homeschooling gave us the flexibility to protect curiosity while still working toward clear academic goals, and over time, it became a way ...
